RNA Art
Rachel N. Askari
About The Artist:
My Name is Rachel Askari, and I am a University of Colorado Boulder Graduate. I majored in Communication and double minored in Media Production and Leadership. Through my Media production Minor, I have learned and continue to learn applications such as Adobe Audition, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Lightroom. In addition, I am continuing to teach myself how to use Figma & Procreate, and I look forward to being continuing to learn new applications as they are developed.
A huge part of my life, especially these past two years during the pandemic, has been art. Art has been a hobby of mine since I was young and has continued to grow throughout high school and college. Ever since switching over from working on paper, I've been hooked. Before beginning digital art practices in college, I took art classes all throughout high school for fun and mainly created work through watercolor, pen drawings, and sculpture. Most recently, I have been working on photography as well as teaching myself animation. I have loved every critical media practices class I have taken thus far. Though there have been some challenges, the opportunity for creative freedom has been so refreshing.
Since graduating, I have begun a graphic design internship with KGNU Community Radio. I am excited to see what will come these next few years.
I hope you enjoy my work, feel free to contact me below for any inquiries :)
