Series 1:
Reflections & Patterns

In this two-part project series, I wanted to focus on reflections. I used two mirrors, a medium/large-sized mirror.

In the first project series, The focus was primarily on portrait photography, focusing on the lighting, the subject, and the mirror. I kept the editing minimal, the most drastic changes would be making half of the photos black and white.

For the second part, I decided to take a more creative route to expand the idea from the first work. This time I wanted to focus on reflections and patterns in the editing process. I wanted to push myself and try something a bit different. I manipulated the photographs by adding digital line art, mirroring images (sometimes creating a sort of kaleidoscope effect), and in some instances creating moving photos and turning them into gifs.

Below are sneak peeks of the work and links to the completed part one and two of the series. Hope you enjoy.
